what is a field service engineer

Because the term can be applied to so many different types of jobs, make the job description of an onsite service technician very specific. Describe the working conditions and tools used, as well as the level of communication with a messenger and skills that will help a person be successful in the job.

Are you a mechanical troubleshooter with a backup in technical support, programming, or hardware repair? Did you enjoy raising Legos as a child? Would you like to fix your stuff when it breaks down? Our company is looking for an onsite service technician for our copy and print department. In this role, you would work onsite at messaging locations to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair printers, copiers, and copiers. After some on-the-job training, you'll gain the technical, mechanical, and electrical skills to use every day in new and challenging situations as you interact with a wide variety of people, devices, and situations.
